Attached is a photo of my youngest son Trenton steward with his first steelhead. It was 26inches, and was caught on a Wiggle Wart smeared with Pro-Cure Shrimp / Krill Super Gel. Hello Pro-Cure, The wife and I were in Soldotna, Alaska for King salmon.. July 19-27 We stayed at the Kenai River Bend Resort.. It's our third time there. Paula and I are from Mechanicsburg,Pa. 17050 On our first day on the river.. Which began at 6am my wife Paula hooked on to her king at 9am and after a 20 min battle the guide netted her king.. It measured 49 inches and weighed 51 lbs.. It was caught on a chrome bladed, Fluorescent Orange Spin n Glow with a Pro-Cure cured Red Hot egg cluster on a single hook. As the day went on I hooked into my king at 1pm it measured 46 inches and weighed 48 lbs... My king also came on the same set-up as Paula's but my colors were chrome blades with blue beads and single egg loop snell.. Both were attached to jet divers. It was great to see the wife land the biggest king of the day from our party of four in the boat.. As always the Kenai River Bend Resort guides did a good job handling the boat and setting up for good drifts in all that boat traffic...I have attached a picture of each of our Kings.. Here are a couple of pictures of my daughter Cheyanne Neeser's (5 1/2 years old) first fish. I took her to Lake Pardee out side of Ione, CA. I had planned to get her into some kokanee that day but the bite was the toughest I had ever had. After a few hours I decided to go and see if I could get a trout for her. There was no bait on the boat for trout fishing. But I always carry plenty of Pro-Cure Super Gel on my boat. So I smeared my lures with the Night Crawler Super Gel and put them out. Not 5 minutes passed and we were into the fish. Cheyanne boated 4 nice big trout before deciding to go in for lunch. All I can say is THANK YOU PRO-CURE for pulling another good day out of the hat when it meant the most. After Cheyanne got her fish in the ice chest she would not let it out of her reach. She even wanted to put it on her lap in the truck on the way home.
