To whom it may concern: I’ve fished the Great Lakes for trout and salmon for over 30 years. During that time my fishing partners have tried many kinds of fish scents and attractants. I was never impressed with any of the results of their efforts. In Great Lakes Angler magazine, I saw the PRO-CURE ad for the Alewife Bait Sauce scent. I was going to fish a large salmon tournament in northern Wisconsin on Lake Michigan in July. Since the alewife is the main forage fish in this lake I thought I would try some of the alewife scent.

Not only did I greatly outfish my three friends on the boat, I also had the largest salmon in the contest for the first three days. I was using a white Luhr Jensen dodger with a white Howie Fly with the Alewife bait sauce scent on it. The tournament covered 60 miles of shoreline and had over 2700 contestants that fish it. Heres a picture of the sturgeon I got using PRO-CURE Herring Oil. The fish weighed in at over 80 lbs. and measured at 68 in. It put up a really good fight and took me about an hour to land the monster on a 25 lb. test. I was using grass shrimp and injecting herring oil into the bait. Ive got more bites using Pro-Cure scents with my bait than just bait alone. What’s worked best for me is injecting the Herring Oil into the grass shrimp then just soaking the bait in the Herring Oil.

Here is a picture of a big brown I caught out of California this year. I put Pro-Cure Trophy Trout (tui chub) on every lure I run... keep the good stuff coming you guys are onto something.
