WHY SO MANY EGG CURES? No one can explain why, but on different days, different conditions, different times of the season fish definitely show a marked preference for eggs cured in different cures, or colors, or with di erent scents added to them. Some times you can keep notes and document these changes and pretty much figure out what is coming next. But sometimes what gets these finicky fish to bite can really be off the wall. You'll regularly see top anglers going to the river with 2, 3, 4, or 5 different cured eggs to try. So it's always a good idea to have some good eggs cured up in different cures, colors and scents because if you have just one, and the fish don't want it on a given day, you might as well pack up and go home.

BORAX EGG & BAIT CURE
Our custom milled borax is a super fine granule so it coats well without caking, and it has an additional 5% moisture added to it so it won't over dry eggs. Available in plain white, we also off er 4 hot fluorescent colors. Steelheaders seem to prefer boraxed eggs, but borax is also becoming a very important additive when custom curing your eggs with either the Wizard or Pro-Cure egg cure.
